Multifaith Medicare for All Forum

After exit polls this month showed 72% of voters wanted Medicare for All, we are excited for this Multifaith Forum on Medicare for All, including:

  • Rabbi Jordana Chernow-Reader, Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation
  • Rev. David W. Greene, Sr., Purpose of Life Ministries (Second Baptist) and President, Concerned Clergy of Indianapolis
  • Hebah Kassem, Muslim Medicare for All Activist and DSA member
  • Fr. Charles Allen, Episcopal Priest and Member, Religious Socialism Committee of Central Indiana DSA.

Faith in Healthcare readers will remember that our editor has written about Hebah Kassem here , the healthcare advocacy work of Rev. Greene here, the Jewish argument for Medicare for All here, and a review of multiple faiths' and denominations' support for Medicare for All here.

The forum is co-sponsored by Medicare for All Indiana and the Religious Socialism Committee of Central Indiana DSA, and will be held on November 24th at 7PM Eastern Time. Please RSVP at http://tinyurl.com/y486fw6h . We hope you can join us!

Access to healthcare is a moral imperative and a human right

  • 100 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured
  • Two-thirds of Americans each year skip treatment or medicines due to cost
  • People are suffering, even dying, needlessly

There are proven solutions to fix our broken system.
People of faith can help build the movement for lifesaving reform.
